What stays on this computer

Your chats, projects, artifacts and settings are stored in a local database on this computer. Masa does not send them to its own servers.

Requests that leave

Your messages go only to the API address you entered in Settings. If you turn on the web tool, a request goes to the page when the model asks for it; if you turn on web search, to the search provider you picked. There is also an update check, which only reads a version file.

What we do not collect

Masa sends no usage statistics, crash reports or advertising IDs. This site is served without cookies or trackers.
